Bronx Museum Fall Benefit Concert Nov 5, 2009


On the evening of Thursday, November 5, 2009, famed jazz composer Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will perform at a special concert benefiting The Bronx Museum of the Arts.

The concert will feature "Wise Latina Woman"; a piece composed by Arturo O'Farrill, the world premiere performance by the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will honor Bronx-Born Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

  • 6:00 pm Dinner at the Home of Laura and Lewis Kruger
  • 8:00 pm Concert (performance by Arturo O'Farrill and Afro Latin Jazz orchestra

Tickets:$350 Patron Ticket (including dinner,performance and dessert);
$150 Friend Ticket (including performance and dessert).

  1. I'm proud that the artists who performed at this concert waived their usual talent fee. This will go a long way in helping with our community development and feed our less fortunate brothers.
